Zoho One vs Microsoft 365: What You Are Actually Buying
Microsoft 365 is productivity: email, Office, Teams, storage. Zoho One is that plus CRM, accounting, HR, projects and a helpdesk in one subscription. Microsoft is cheaper because it is a smaller product; the number to work out is its bill once you add the business apps Zoho One includes. Prices below were read from each vendor’s own pricing page in August 2026, with Microsoft’s billing country set to Egypt.

If you are buying productivity, buy Microsoft: Business Basic is $7 per user against $25.5 for Zoho One, and your team already knows Excel. Once CRM and accounting come in, the matched Microsoft seat is about $168.50 against $25.5.
Price it on how many people need the business apps, not on how many are on the payroll. Zoho One's cheaper plan licenses everyone, so with a large factory floor look at the $62 flexible plan first — and Microsoft sells light users seats at $7 and $8, which Zoho One does not.
